Micha Germann is a doctoral researcher at ETH Zurich. He holds a master’s degree in Political Science from the University of Zurich (2012) and is currently writing a dissertation on the relationship between self-determination referendums and civil war. His research interests include self-determination disputes, civil war, direct democracy, and e-democracy. His work has been published in several peer-reviewed journals, including the British Journal of Political Science, the European Political Science Review, Quality & Quantity, and Acta Politica.
