Aya Abdelrahman is a PhD candidate at the International Conflict Research Group. She obtained her Master of Arts in Comparative and International Studies (2022) from ETH and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations (2020) from the University of Rochester. She is interested in ethnic power sharing, transborder ethnic connections, majority nationalism and electoral violence. Further interests include machine learning and causal inference.
