Dennis Atzenhofer

Dennis joined the International Conflict Research group as a Ph.D. student in November 2018. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from the University of Konstanz and a master’s degree in Comparative and International Studies from ETH Zürich.

His dissertation focuses on communication and political violence, in particular on the agitating effects of ethno-nationalist rhetoric. Further research interests include machine learning applications and causal inference.
